Senior Law of Legal Action of Wisconsin, Inc

SeniorLAW of Legal Action of Wisconsin, has a specific purpose of providing quality free legal assistance to Milwaukee County residents age 60 and older through the Benefit Specialist program. The overall goal of SeniorLAW is to provide quality legal advocacy, counseling, education and referral services to older adults. The program is dedicated to the securing and retention of legal rights and benefits to which older adults are entitled by direct case work and effective representation.

The Benefit Specialist program will help with problems with public benefits such as Medicare, Medical Assistance, Long Term Care, Social Security, SSI, Food Stamps, and Subsidized Housing. Guardianship, elder rights, and consumer issues can be considered for advocacy. If benefits have been denied, cut off or reduced, the staff at SeniorLAW will evaluate the issue and represent where appropriate. Use of Language Line is also available.
