Community Health Care provides care to those with or without insurance in the greater Tacoma and Pierce County area. We provide family practice care for your entire family. Those without insurance are treated on a sliding fee scale based on income, family size and services provided. Community Health Care provides care through a clinic system that includes eight medical and three dental clinics. In addition care is also provided through a Women's Health Clinic, a Domestic Violence Clinic, Health Care for the Homeless and Foot Care for Senior's. The medical clinics are staffed with Board Certified Family Practice Physicians, Internists, Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) and Physician Assistants (PA-C). If your needs are beyond our scope of service, a staff of Outreach Workers will help you find affordable specialty care. Dental Care is provided by Licensed Dentists and Dental Hygienists.

South Sound Outreach Services

South Sound Outreach Service provides outreach services to low-income seniors, disabled, and other similarly situated individuals. We connect individuals with existing programs they may need and we offer applications and assistance. Outreach is essential to many individuals and families that are not able to connect with available programs because of a wide-variety of physical, mental, and emotional reasons. SSOS is centrally located in the Upper Tacoma Area and provides outreach services by going to senior centers, meal sites, food banks and individual's homes to connect clients with programs that significantly improve the quality of their lives. SSOS has a staff of four full-time employees and a governing board of six.
