Adult Protective Services responds to reports of the mistreatment or neglect of at-risk adults who are, due to age or disability, unable to advocate for themselves.

The Larimer County Office on Aging (LCOA) is the Area Agency on Aging for Larimer County. The direct services of the LCOA include: the ARCH Program (ADRC)- the Family Caregiver Support Program- the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program- and the Senior Tax Work-Off Program.

The Long Term Care Ombudsman advocates for individuals living in long term care facilities. Using mediation, education and a problem-solving approach, the Ombudsman works to protect the civil and human rights of residents.
